Zafarnamah • Chapter 1 • Shloka 109
खुशत शाहे शाहान ओरंगज़ेब । कि चालाक दस्तस्त चाबुक रकेव ॥
O Aurangzeb! You are happy (thinking yourself to be) the king of kings. And (think) yourself to be a clever man and a capable whip (who rules firmly with punishment). The qualities that are being discussed or accused here have been said to show that "you are not like that in reality". After this Guruji again started singing the praises of God. In the next four verses Guruji has described the grace of God on him and has sung his glory with a devotional heart. Here there is repetition in the praise of God, but repetition should not be considered a fault in the praise of God.
