आजानोः पायुपर्यन्तमर्पा स्थानं प्रकीर्तितम् ।
आपोऽर्धचन्द्रं शुक्लं च वंबीजं परिकीर्तितम् ॥
The region of apas (water) is said to extend from the knees to the anus. Apas is semi-lunar in shape and white in colour and has Va for its bija (seed) letter.
