प्रथमाभ्यासकाले तु विघ्नाः स्युश्चतुरानन।
आलस्यं कत्थनं धूर्तगोष्ठी मन्त्रादिसाधनम् ॥
During the early stages of practice, the following obstacles take place, O four-faced one, (viz.,) laziness, idle talk, association with bad characters, acquisition of mantras, etc., playing with metals (alchemy) and woman, etc., the mirage.
