अनधीत्य यथा वेदान्न विप्रः श्राद्धमरहति ।
एवमश्रुतषाडगुण्यो न मन्त्रं श्रोतुमर्हति ॥
Just as a Brahmin is not entitled to perform Shraddha without studying the Vedas, in the same way, without knowing the six gunas namely sandhi, vigraha, yana, asana, dvaidhibhava, and samashraya, no one is entitled to listen to secret mantras.
