पीठं दत्त्वा साधवेऽभ्यागताय आनीयापः परिनिर्णिज्य पादौ ।
सुखं पृष्ट्वा प्रतिवेद्यात्म संस्थं ततो दद्यादन्नमवेक्ष्य धीरः ॥
A patient person should, when a saintly man comes to the house as a guest, first give him a seat, bring water to wash his feet, then inquire about his well-being and tell his condition, and then feed him considering it as a necessity.
