न छन्दांसि वृजिनात्तारयन्ति आयाविनं मायया वर्तमानम् ।
नीडं शकुन्ता इव जातपक्षाश् छन्दांस्येनं प्रजहत्यन्तकाले ॥
The Vedas do not absolve the illusory one from the sins of those who behave deceitfully, but as the young birds leave the nest when their wings come out, so the Vedas also abandon him at the time of death.
