रात्रिः सैव पुनः स एव दिवसो मत्वा बुधा जन्तवो
धावन्त्युद्यमिनस्तथैव निभृतप्रारब्धतत्तत्क्रियाः ।
व्यापारैः पुनरुक्तभुक्त विषयैरित्थंविधेनामुना
संसारेण कदर्थिता कथमहो मोहान्न लज्जामहे।।
If the wisest of creatures know that day and night are exactly as before; Yet they run after the same occupations (work), they used to run before. Those people are engaged in the same works, from which they get temporary and repeated benefits, which they have said and enjoyed again and again. It is a matter of wonder, that humans do not feel ashamed!
