प्राणाघातान्निवृत्तिः परधनहरणे संयमः सत्यवाक्यं
कालेशक्त्या प्रदानं युवतिजनकथामूकभावः परेषाम्।
तृष्णास्त्रोतोविभङ्गो गुरुषु च विनयः सर्वभूतानुकम्पा
सामान्यः सर्वशास्त्रेष्वनुपहतविधि:श्रेयसामेष पन्थाः।।
Not doing violence to any living being, not stealing someone else's property, speaking the truth, donating according to one's ability at the right time, remaining silent in the discussion of other women, being humble in front of teachers, having compassion for all living beings and having equal faith in different scriptures - all these are sure ways to attain eternal happiness.
