विद्या नाधिगता कलंकरहिता वित्तं च नोपार्जितम
शुश्रूषापि समाहितेन मनसा पित्रोर्न सम्पादिता।
आलोलायतलोचना युवतयः स्वप्नेऽपि नालिंगिताः
कालोऽयं परपिण्डलोलुपतया ककैरिव प्रेरितः।।
Neither did we study flawlessly, nor did we earn money; Neither did we serve our parents with a calm mind, nor did we hug long-eyed women even in our dreams. What did we do after coming into this world was like crows who stare at other people's pieces?
