स्फुरत्स्फारज्योत्स्नाधवलिततले क्वापि पुलिने
सुखासीनाः शान्तध्वनिषु द्युसरितः ।।
भवाभोगोद्विग्नाः शिवशिवशिवेत्यार्तवचसः
कदा स्यामानन्दोद्गमबहुलबाष्पाकुलदृशः।।
When will the time come when we will be sitting happily on such a place of the holy Ganges which will be shining in the moonlight and in the night, when all the noise will stop, with eyes full of tears of joy, tired of the sorrows of the world, we will be chanting the almighty Shiva?
