यत्रानेके क्वचिदपि गृहे तत्र तिष्ठत्यथैको
यत्राप्येकस्तदनु बहवस्तत्र चान्ते न चैकः।।
इत्थं चेमौ रजनिदिवसौ दोलयन्द्वाविवाक्षौ
कालः काल्या सह बहुकलः क्रीडति प्राणिशारैः।।
In the house where earlier there were many people, now only one is left. In the house where there was one, there were many, but in the end not even one remained. It is known from this that Kaal Devta (Time), along with his wife Kali, is playing in the quadrangle in the form of the world, by rolling the dice day and night and making pieces of the creatures of this world.
