अमीषां प्राणानां तुलितबिसिनीपत्रपयसां
कृते किं नास्माभिर्विगलितविवेकैर्व्यवसितम्।
यदाढ्यानामग्रे द्रविणमदनिःसंज्ञमनसां
कृतं वीतव्रीडैर्निजगुणकथापातकमपि।।
For fickle souls like drops of water on a lotus leaf; What things have we not done without considering good and bad? We have even committed the sin of brazenly glorifying our virtues in front of people intoxicated with wealth.
