यदा किञ्चिज्झोऽहं द्विप इव मदान्धः समभवं
तदा सर्वज्ञोऽस्मीत्यभवदवलिप्तं मम मनः।
यदा किंचित्किञ्चिद्बुधजनसकाशादवगतं
तदा मूर्खोऽस्मीति ज्वर इव मदो मे व्यपगतः।।
When I knew little, I was blinded by intoxication like an elephant; I used to think that I am omniscient. When I came to know something from the company of the wise; Then I realized that I do not know anything. My false passion went down like a fever.
