पुरा विद्वत्तासीऽदुपशमवतां क्लेशहतये
गता कालेनासौ विषयसुखसिद्धयै विषयिणाम् ।
इदानीं तु प्रेक्ष्य क्षितितलभुजः शास्त्रविमुखा
नहो कष्टं साऽपि प्रतिदिनमधोऽधः प्रविशति ।।
