तदण्डं समभवत्तत्संवत्सरमात्रमुषित्वा द्विधाऽकरोदधस्ताद्धमिमुपरिष्टादाकाशं मध्ये पुरुषो दिव्यः सहस्रशीर्षा पुरुषः सहस्राक्षः सहस्त्रपात्। सहस्त्रबाहुरिति ॥
This became the Egg, which existing for just a year became two-fold - earth below and sky above. Between was Divine Man with a thousand heads, eyes, feet and arms (Viratpurusha).
