Shvetashvatara • Chapter 6 • Shloka 5
आदिः स संयोगनिमित्तहेतुः परस्त्रिकालादकलोऽपि दृष्टः।
तं विश्वरूपं भवभूतमीड्यं देवं स्वचित्तस्थमुपास्य पूर्वम्॥
Oh, we have seen 'That' (God) and 'He' is the 'origin' of the whole world and the 'supreme cause' of all the 'causes' and the 'nimittas', by which the combination of gross substances takes place and they form. do eclipses; Past, present and future - Trikala, 'whose' has cosmic dimensions and 'who' is 'akala' means 'time' has no place in it. Let us worship that 'Purva Purush' situated in our mind. Let us worship that worship-able 'Dev' who assumes 'Vishwaroop' and appears in the whole world (Bhav) as 'Sambhuti'.
