Shvetashvatara • Chapter 5 • Shloka 7
गुणान्वयो यः फलकर्मकर्ता कृतस्य तस्यैव स चोपभोक्ता।
स विश्वरूपस्त्रिगुणस्त्रिवर्त्मा प्राणाधिपः संचरति स्वकर्मभिः॥
There is a 'He' who is the creator of the fruits of actions, because 'He' is united with the qualities of Prakriti; 'He' is the one who enjoys the deeds done; This 'world' is the body of 'him' and 'his' nature is trigunatmika and similarly there are three paths of 'his' journey. Oh, this 'lord of souls', through the movement of 'his' own deeds, transmits from age to age.
