शिखरिणीअसाराः सन्त्वेते विरसविरसाश्चैव विषयाजुगुप्सन्तां यद्वा ननु सकलदोषास्पदमिति ॥
तथाप्यन्तस्तत्त्वे प्रणिहितधियामप्यनबलःतदीयो नाख्येयः स्फुरति हृदये कोऽपि महिमा ॥
“Worldly pleasures are a waste, a hindrance in abstinence and a mine of all faults” – even if people blaspheme them, yet their glory is immense and there is no doubt about their power, because this is revealed even in the hearts of philosophers engaged in Brahma thought.
