शिखरिणीअसूचीसंचारे तमसि नभसि प्रौढजलदध्वनिप्राये तस्मिन् पतति दृशदां नीरनिचये ॥
इदं सौदामिन्याः कनककमनीयं विलसितंमुदं च ग्लानिं च प्रथयति पथिष्वेव सुदृशाम् ॥
In the fierce dark night of Sawan (second month of rainy season), when hand to hand is not understood, thunderous thunder of clouds, rain of water with stones and lightning shining like gold – for the beautiful woman, on the way, there is a reason for both happiness and sorrow.
