कः पथ्यतरः? धर्मः । कः शुचिः इहः? - यस्य मानसं शुद्धम् । कः पण्डितः? - विवेकी । किं विषम् ? - अवधीरणा गुरुषु ।
What is the most wholesome path?
Dharma.
Who is truly pure?
One whose mind is pure.
Who is a learned person (paṇḍita)?
One who possesses discrimination (viveka).
What is poison?
Disrespect toward the Guru.
