यदा त्वमभिवर्षस्यथेमाः प्राण ते प्रजाः।
आनन्दरूपास्तिष्ठन्ति कामायान्नं भविष्यतीति ॥
When You, O Prāṇa, pour down rain,
then these creatures rejoice and live in gladness,
thinking:
“There will be food in abundance to fulfill our needs and desires.”
