Prashna • Chapter 1 • Shloka 11
पञ्चपादं पितरं द्वादशाकृतिं दिव आहुः परे अर्धे पुरीषिणम्।
अथेमे अन्य उ परे विचक्षणं सप्तचक्रे षडर आहुरर्पितमिति ॥
Some describe Him as the Father with five feet, possessing twelve forms, dwelling in the higher region of heaven and pouring forth nourishment.
Others speak of Him as the all-knowing One, in whom is established the wheel with seven spokes and six rims.
Thus is He contemplated by the wise.
