को लाभों गुणसङ्गमः किमसुखं प्राज्ञेतरैः
का हानिः समयच्युतिर्निपुणता का धर्मतत्वे रतिः ।
कः शूरो विजितेन्द्रियः प्रियतमा कानुव्रता किं धनं
विद्या किं सुखमप्रवासगमनं राज्यं किमाज्ञाचलम् ।।
What is profit? The company of virtues. What is sorrow? Contagion of fools. What is loss? Missing on time. What is dexterity? Dharmic devotion. Who is Brave? Conqueror of the senses. How good is the woman? One who is friendly and virtuous. What is wealth? Knowledge. What is happiness? Not staying in migration. What is state? To follow your orders.
