Niti Shatkam • Chapter 1 • Shloka 84
कर्म प्रशंसानमस्यामो देवान्ननु हतविधेस्तेऽपि वशगा ।विधिर्वन्द्यः सोऽपि प्रतिनियतकर्मैकफलदः ।।
फलं कर्मायत्तं किमरगणैः किं च विधिना ।नमस्तत्कर्मभ्यो विधिरपि न येभ्यः प्रभवति ।।
We all worship the Gods, but they are all seen under the Creator, that's why we worship the Creator, but the Creator also gives fruits according to the deeds of our previous births. When both the fruit and the creator are under the control of karma, then what is meant by the gods and the creator? Karma is paramount; That's why we salute Karma, against which even the creator can do nothing.
