सन्तप्तायसि संस्थितस्य पयसो नामापि न ज्ञायते ।
मुक्ताकारतया तदेव नलिनीपत्रस्थितं राजते ।।
स्वात्यां सागरशुक्तिमध्यपतितं तन्मौक्तिकं जायते ।
प्रायेणोत्तममध्यमाधमदशा संसर्गतो देहिनाम् ।।
When a drop of water falls on a hot iron, even its name does not remain; The same drop of water falling on a lotus leaf becomes like a pearl and the same drop of water falling in a seashell in Swati Nakshatra becomes a pearl. This proves that in the world, bad, medium and good qualities are mostly due to association.
