वाञ्छा सज्जनसङ्गमे परगुणे प्रीतिर्गुरौ नम्रता विद्यायां व्यसनं स्वयोषिति रतिर्लोकापवादादभ्यम् ।
भक्तिः शूलिनि शक्तिरात्मदमने संसर्गमुक्तिः खलेष्वेते येषु वसन्ति निर्मलगुणास्तेभ्यो नरेभ्यो नमः ।।
Longing for the company of gentlemen, love for other people's qualities, humility with elders, addiction to learning, love for one's own woman, fear of public condemnation, devotion to Shiva, power to control the mind and absence of the company of the wicked. We salute those who have these great qualities.
