मणि: शाणोल्लीढ: समरविजयी हेतनिहतो
मदक्षिणो नाग: शरदि सरित: श्यानपुलिनाः ।
कलाशेषश्चन्द्र: सुरत्मृदित बालवनिता
तनिम्ना: शोभन्ते गलितविभवाश्चार्थिषु जनाः ॥
A polished gem, a victorious warrior injured by weapons, a weak elephant, a river with dry banks and little water in autumn, the new moon devoid of art, a young girl weary of manly kisses, and a gentleman who has donated all his money to poverty. All of them get grace only by their loss or weakness.
