प्राणे बाह्यानिलं तद्वज्ज्वलने चाग्निमौदरे। तोयं तोयांशके भूमिं भूमिभागे महामुने ॥
Likewise, within the Prāṇa, one should contemplate the outer air.
Within the digestive fire, one should contemplate fire.
Within the watery principle, one should contemplate water.
And within the earthly element, O great sage, one should contemplate earth.
