मकारं तु स्मरन्पश्चाद्रेचयेदिडयाऽनिलम्। एवमेव पुनः कुर्यादिडयापूर्य बुद्धिमान् ॥
Then, contemplating the syllable M (Makāra), one should exhale the breath through Iḍā Nāḍī.
Thereafter, the wise practitioner should again begin the cycle by inhaling through Iḍā Nāḍī.
