इडया वेदतत्त्वज्ञस्तथा पिङ्गलयैव च। नाभी निरोधयेत्तेन व्याधिभिर्मुच्यते नरः ॥
The knower of the truth of the Vedas should likewise draw the breath through Iḍā or through Piṅgalā and retain it at the navel.
By this practice, a person becomes freed from diseases.
