Jabal Darshan • Chapter 4 • Shloka 24
तेषु प्राणादयः पञ्च मुख्याः पञ्चसु सुव्रत । प्राणसंज्ञस्तथापानः पूज्यः प्राणस्तयोर्मुने ॥
O noble one, among these ten Vāyus, the five beginning with Prāṇa are the principal ones.
Of these, Prāṇa and Apāna are especially important; and among the two, Prāṇa is held to be the foremost, O sage.
