ज्ञानशौचं परित्यज्य बाहो यो रमते नरः। स मूढः काञ्चनं त्यक्त्वा लोष्टं गृह्णाति सुव्रत ॥
O noble one, the person who abandons the purity of knowledge and delights only in external purity is deluded; he is like one who discards gold and takes up a clod of earth instead.
