Jabal Darshan • Chapter 1 • Shloka 18
वेदादेव विनिर्मोक्षः संसारस्य न चान्यथा । इति विज्ञाननिष्पत्तिधृतिः प्रोक्ता हि वैदिकैः । अहमात्मा न चान्योऽस्मीत्येवमप्रच्युता मतिः ॥
The steadfast conviction, born of true understanding, that liberation from Saṃsāra is attained through the Vedas alone and not otherwise—this is called steadfastness (Dhṛti) by the Vedic sages.
Likewise, the unwavering conviction, “I am the Ātman and not anything else,” is also regarded as Dhṛti.
