Isha • Chapter 1 • Shloka 8
स पर्यगाच्छुक्रमकायमव्रणमस्नाविरं शुद्धमपापविद्धम्।
कविर्मनीषी परिभूः स्वयम्भूर्याथातथ्यतोऽर्थान् व्यदधात् शाश्वतीभ्यः समाभ्यः ॥
It is that Purusha that pervades everywhere – that element which is luminous, without body, free from any mark or stain of imperfection, free from nerves and veins and pure and not bound by sin. All-seeing, wise, the one who becomes everything everywhere, that Self-existent Purusha has arranged all the substances according to their nature, in perfect form, from eternal years, from time immemorial.
