वरमल्पबलं सारं न कुर्यान्मुण्डमण्डलीम् ।
कुर्यादसारभङ्गो हि सारभङ्गमपि स्फुटम् ॥
It is better to have a small army of chosen men than a multitude of heads, for the defeat of the weak will evidently lead to that of the strong.
