बलेषु प्रमुखो हस्ती न तथान्यो महीपतेः ।
निजैरवयवैरेव मातङ्गोऽष्टायुधः स्मृतः ॥
The elephant forms the chief factor in a king's army. There is none other like him, because the elephant is said to possess eight weapons in his very limbs.
