पदातींश्च महीपालः पुरोऽनीकस्य योजयेत् ।
उपरुध्यारिमासीत राष्ट्रं चास्योपपीडयेत् ॥
A king should place the infantry in the front of the army (or send the infantry ahead of the army); he should wait, having blocked up the enemy and also harass his country.
