किं च । कौर्मं संकोचमास्थाय प्रहारमपि मर्षयेत् ।
प्राप्तकाले तु नीतिज्ञ उत्तिष्ठेत्क्रूरसर्पवत् ॥
Moreover, having recourse to the tortoise's mode of contracting its body one should suffer even a blow, but when the right time comes, one, knowing the policy, should rise like a fierce cobra.
