अपरं च । जनं जनपदा नित्यमर्चयन्ति नृपार्चितम् ।
नृपेणावमतो यस्तु स सर्वैरवमन्यते ॥
Moreover, people always honour the man respected by the king, but he who is despised by the king is slighted by all.
