अपि च । धर्मार्थकामतत्त्वज्ञो नैकान्तकरुणो भवेत् ।
न हि हस्तस्थमप्यन्नं क्षमावान्रक्षितुं क्षमः ॥
Moreover, One, who knows the real nature of Dharma, Artha and Kama, should not be exclusively merciful; for a man given to forgiveness is not able to save even the thing in his hand.
