अमात्यानामेष क्रमः --
वरं प्राणपरित्यागः शिरसो वापि कर्तनम् ।
न तु स्वामिपदावाप्तिपातकेच्छोरुपेक्षणम् ॥
This is the proper duty of ministers - Better is the abandonment of life or the cutting off of the head than the neglect of one who desires to commit the sin of obtaining his master's post.
