विद्या मित्रं प्रवासे च भार्या मित्र गृहे च ।
व्याधिस्तस्यौषधं मित्रं धर्मा मित्रं मृतस्य च ।।
Realised learning (vidya) is our friend while travelling , the wife is a friend at home, medicine is the friend of a sick man, and meritorious deeds are the friends at death.
