गौणश्चेन्नात्मशब्दात्॥
If it be argued that ("thinking" is attributed to Sat only in a figurative or secondary sense), (we reply) not so, because the scriptures refer to the First Cause as the Self (Ātman), which cannot properly denote an insentient principle.
