आत्मौपम्येन सर्वत्र समं पश्यति योऽर्जुन।
सुखं वा यदि वा दुःखं सः योगी परमो मतः।।
O Arjuna, the one who, by comparison with oneself (ātmaupamyena), sees all beings equally everywhere (samaṁ paśyati), whether in happiness (sukha) or in sorrow (duḥkha)—
that yogī is regarded by Me as the highest (paramaḥ).
