मय्यनन्तमहांभोधा-वाश्चर्यं जीववीचयः।
उद्यन्ति घ्नन्ति खेलन्ति प्रविशन्ति स्वभावतः॥
In me, the infinite ocean,
how wondrous are the waves called Jīvas!
By their very nature, they arise, clash with one another, play for a while,
and then merge back again.
