न प्रीयते वन्द्यमानो निन्द्यमानो न कुप्यति।
नैवोद्विजति मरणे जीवने नाभिनन्दति॥
He does not become pleased when praised,
nor does he become angry when criticized.
He is not disturbed by death,
nor does he celebrate or cling to life.
He remains established in the same inner peace under all conditions.
