Ashtavakra Gita • Chapter 18 • Shloka 71
शुद्धस्फुरणरूपस्य दृश्यभावमपश्यतः।
क्व विधिः क्व वैराग्यं क्व त्यागः क्व शमोऽपि वा॥
For one whose nature is pure, self-luminous Awareness,
who no longer sees reality in the world of objects,
where is injunction or prescribed discipline?
Where is dispassion (Vairāgya)?
Where is renunciation (Tyāga)?
And where is even tranquility (Śama)?
For one established in pure Awareness, all such spiritual categories lose their separate significance.
