Ashtavakra Gita • Chapter 18 • Shloka 29
यस्यान्तः स्यादहंकारो न करोति करोति सः।
निरहंकारधीरेण न किंचिदकृतं कृतम्॥
One in whom the sense of ego ("I am the doer") remains,
even if he does not act, he is still acting.
But for the wise one who is free from ego,
nothing is done, even when actions appear to be performed.
