Chapter 6 — Prakrteh Parah

Ashtavakra Gita
4 Shloka • Translation Only
Aṣṭāvakra said: "I am infinite like space; the world is merely a natural appearance, like a pot existing within that space." For one established in this knowledge, there is neither renunciation, nor acceptance, nor even dissolution.
"I am like the vast ocean, and this manifested universe is like its waves." For one established in this knowledge, there is neither renunciation, nor acceptance, nor even dissolution.
"I am like the mother-of-pearl, and the universe is merely an imagined appearance, like silver mistakenly perceived in it." For one established in this knowledge, there is neither renunciation, nor acceptance, nor even dissolution.
"I am in all beings, and all beings are in me." For one established in this knowledge, there is neither renunciation, nor acceptance, nor even dissolution.
